Lead new business development for national and multi-regional accounts in commercial real estate, focusing on large deal closures and relationship management.
Valcourt Group is seeking a driven, strategic National Account Manager to lead new business development within our waterproofing & restoration division.
This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing national and multi-regional client relationships across commercial real estate portfolios. The ideal candidate is a proven hunter with experience selling into property management groups, ownership entities, and facilities organizations, and has a track record of closing large, complex deals.
Key Responsibilities:New Business Development:- Identify and pursue national and regional accounts, including:
- Property management firms
- REITs and institutional ownership groups
- Private equity real estate firms
- Large commercial building owners
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders:
- Property Managers
- Facilities Managers
- Asset Managers
- Ownership and executive leadership
- Drive and close high-value opportunities ($250K-$2M+)
- Manage long, consultative sales cycles
- Lead client presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, estimating, leadership) to deliver tailored solutions
- Execute a land-and-expand strategy across client portfolios
- Convert initial project wins into multi-property and multi-market relationships
- Establish Valcourt as a preferred or national vendor partner
- Build brand presence within the commercial real estate community
- Represent Valcourt at industry associations and events such as BOMA
- Stay informed on market trends, building regulations, and competitive landscape
- 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience
- Proven success in net new business development
- Track record of closing large, complex deals ($250K+)
- Experience selling into commercial real estate, facilities, or related industries
- Waterproofing, restoration, or building envelope services
- Roofing or exterior construction services
- HVAC / mechanical services
- Facility services
- Fire/life safety or building systems
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Strategic, consultative sales approach
