Role: Sr. Software Test Analyst
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 6 Months + Extension
Minimum Required Skills:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or related field and working knowledge of software testing methodologies
- Experience in documenting test plans, requirements, writing, executing and maintaining test scripts
- Experience working with Defect Management Tools (JIRA and Bugzilla)
- Experience in manual testing of Java based Web applications
- Experience in working with Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with technical style guides and writing standards. Familiarity with integration testing and best practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences of varying technical aptitudes
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of systems used to support the business of a Utility, including outage management, CIS, automated metering, distribution management systems
- Experience testing solutions based on SOA, JEE, and Web Services using IBM WebSphere products including MAXIMO, Integration Developer 6.1-7.0, Process Server 6.1-7.0, Enterprise Service Bus 6.1-7.0, WebSphere Application Server 6.1, DataPower XI50
- Experience with IBM Rational Functional Tester, IBM Performance Tester, IBM Rational Robot, Zephyr, IBM Collaboration Lifecycle Management (CLM)
