  • Participate in application architecture, technical design, code reviews, and development standards.
  • Develop unit and automated tests to maintain application quality.
  • Use Azure DevOps for source-code management, work tracking, automated testing, CI builds, and deployment/release pipelines.
  • Use Git for version control, branching, merging, and collaborative development.
  • Troubleshoot application, API, database, integration, and production issues.
  • Work closely with architects, product teams, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
  • Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Produce clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should have:

  • 7+ years of software development experience with .NET / .NET Core
  • 4+ years of Python application development experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Azure-based microservices

    • Code repositories
    • Task/work-item tracking
    • Automated testing
    • CI builds
    • Release/deployment pipelines
  • Strong experience with Git
  • Strong REST API and web-service development experience
  • Experience developing distributed or microservices-based applications
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design, software engineering principles, and design patterns
  • Experience debugging and supporting production applications
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
