As a Senior .NET Developer (AI Integration), you are responsible for designing, building, and integrating enterprise‑grade applications that combine robust .NET development with modern AI capabilities. Approximately 60% of your focus is core .NET application development, while 40% centers on implementing and integrating AI and ML services into those applications. You thrive in greenfield environments, enjoy building systems from the ground up, and excel at integrating external AI services through well‑designed APIs. You bring a strong implementation mindset, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and production‑ready. You collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to turn innovative ideas into reliable, high‑impact applications.

Sr. .NET Developer (AI Integration) | Day-to-Day

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications using .NET and C#, with a primary emphasis on backend services and application architecture.
  • Implement and integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications using cloud‑based services and APIs, ensuring seamless interaction with .NET systems.
  • Build and deploy RESTful APIs to enable integration between internal applications, AI services, and external platforms.
  • Lead greenfield development efforts, including architecture definition, service design, and foundational application setup.
  • Integrate AI features such as intelligent agents, automation, or decision‑support capabilities while ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and DevOps teams to support end‑to‑end implementation, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of AI‑enabled applications.
  • Stay current with advancements in software engineering and applied AI, evaluating new tools and approaches for practical enterprise use.

Sr. .NET Developer (AI Integration) | Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using .NET and C#.
  • Proven hands‑on experience implementing and integrating AI/ML services into production applications, rather than purely researching or experimenting.
  • Strong experience designing and deploying API‑driven architectures, including RESTful services and microservices.
  • Demonstrated ability to build applications from scratch, including architecture, data access, and service integration layers.
  • Solid experience with cloud‑native development and deployment, preferably within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git‑based workflows, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.

Sr. .NET Developer (AI Integration) | Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI services, or similar AI platforms.
  • Exposure to OKTA AI or identity‑centric AI integrations is a strong plus.
  • Understanding AI integration patterns, including prompt management, orchestration, and service‑to‑service communication.
  • Microsoft Azure or AI‑related certifications.
