Responsibilities:
- Enthusiastically greet potential customers via showroom, phone, or internet inquiry
- Establish relationships with customers by listening to their needs and providing professional, product knowledge, and needs-based consultation
- Be able to perform quality, comprehensive, vehicle walkarounds, demonstration drives, and final deliveries
- Exhibit confident negotiation skills during the sales process, as well as continue to hone skills in overcoming objections, within all aspects of the prospecting/sales environment
- Approach each sale with an emphasis on an exceptional customer experience and a commitment to a long-term relationship with both you and the dealership (repeat and referral business is crucial in the auto sales environment)
- Continuously develop and maintain product knowledge in regard to the latest Ford package configurations, options, and technology
- Be committed to an appointment-based culture; this includes prospecting and following up, with potential and past clients, through outbound phone calls, emails, and texts
- Attend Ford product training sessions as well as internal dealership group and individual training sessions
- Participate with management in setting goals to achieve sales performance and production standards projected for the position
- Maintain high Customer Service Index (CSI) standards as outlined by Ford
- Uphold the values, ethics, and professionalism expected as a member of the Red McCombs automotive team
