This role is within Chamberlain Group's Sales function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Acquire new security distributors to build out Chamberlain Group's access control strategy for the Community and Facility end-user segments  (ii) Build product awareness, adoption, and sales growth in the security distribution channel through regular engagement with dealers and prospects (iii) Support dealer engagement initiatives with segment end users in collaboration with Chamberlain Group’s New Business Development and National Integrator team. Requires 5+ years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Territory would include Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new security distributors to build out Chamberlain Group’s access control strategy for the Community and Facility end-user segments

  • Build product awareness, adoption, and sales growth in the security distribution channel through regular engagement with dealers and prospects

  • Support dealer engagement initiatives with segment end users in collaboration with Chamberlain Group's New Business Development team and National Integrator team

  • Represent Chamberlain Group at industry trade shows, councils, and networking events

  • Facilitate the trainings for the distributor’s sales teams, specifications teams, their dealers, and Chamberlain Group’s direct dealers

  • Support implementation of go-to-market strategies developed by Chamberlain Group’s product marketing, engineering, business development, and new product development teams to achieve successful new product deployment

  • Build competitive product knowledge to help position the value of Chamberlain Group’s entire portfolio of products/services and expertise to expand market positioning; regularly train, consult and mentor others

  • Track and record all distribution activities and sales opportunities in SalesForce

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Knowledge across the access control and system integrator spaces

  • Ability to travel up to 70% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license

  • Preferred: Master’s Degree, in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Communications

  • Preferred: Work experience in the Security Industry / Access Control Industry

  • Preferred: Proficient in sales systems, mechanical aptitude, consultative selling, electrical engineering

The pay range for this position is $83,845.00 - $138,148.50; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
