Role Overview:

Could you be our next New Business Specialist? Globe Life is looking for a New Business Specialist to join the team!

This role is responsible for opening, sorting, and processing incoming applications received via mail, fax, email, and FTP sites, including coding, scanning, and keying application data. Responsibilities also include reviewing pending applications, verifying all required documentation has been received, and maintaining accurate reports. Additionally, this role is responsible for handling underwriting correspondence and working exception reports such as missing phone numbers, missing birthdates, and frequent applier cases.

This is an onsite position located in McKinney, Texas.

What You Will Do:

  • Open, sort, print and code Applications from mail, faxes, SFTP,  and emails.
  • Verify application is complete with all required forms.
  • Key applications into tracking system.
  • Key applications into captiva.
  • Deliver applications to Data Entry/Scan and complete drop files.
  • Complete pending reports and update notes.
  • Scan, index and key applications or other supporting documents.
  • Log/sort checks and cash received with applications.
  • Review faxes from the fax lines.
  • Review and sort the mail that is delivered to NB.
  • File and mail letters to agents and clients.
  • Assemble policy print and mail to clients.
  • Other duties as required.

What You Can Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred 1 year in a role requiring a similar skill set.
  • Insurance and/or office administration experience a plus.
  • LOMA 281 and Business Email Etiquette course completion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make logical decisions based on information provided, including when working remotely.
