The SEON Solutions Engineering team plays a critical role in uncovering customer challenges, connecting business outcomes to SEON’s platform, and shaping the future of fraud prevention and financial crime compliance. As a Solution Engineer, you will act as a customer-facing technical partner, supporting discovery, solution design, and value articulation across Fraud, AML, and broader Financial Crime.

This role is designed for early to mid-level pre-sales professionals experienced in technically complex, multi-stakeholder engagements. You will serve as a customer-facing expert while partnering closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality solutions and continuously improve how we sell and implement SEON.

Location: Austin, TX (hybrid)

What You’ll Do

Act as a Developing Subject Matter Expert

  • Support pre-sales discovery, solution design, and value articulation for SEON’s fraud, AML, KYC, and risk-orchestration capabilities.

  • Help customers understand financial crime threats, regulatory obligations, and architectural decisions.

Support Strategic Enterprise Engagements

  • Partner on complex, multi-product, or high-risk opportunities.

  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical recommendations and solutions.

  • Engage senior stakeholders, connecting SEON’s platform to measurable outcomes.

Develop Technical Leadership & Integration Expertise

  • Support API, SDK, orchestration, and data integration discussions.

  • Advise on fraud-stack modernization, data ingestion, model decisioning, and workflow optimization.

Collaborate, Learn & Contribute

  • Shadow senior engineers, gather feedback, and iterate on your own engagements.

  • Create enablement assets like demo flows, technical write-ups, and discovery guides.

  • Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering on customer needs and technical constraints.

Contribute to SEON’s Market Leadership

  • Stay updated on fraud, AML, cybersecurity, and risk-tech trends.

  • Partner across functions to ensure consistent solution delivery and customer success.

Drive Customer Value & Thought Leadership

  • Deliver actionable recommendations grounded in domain expertise and measurable outcomes.

  • Champion SEON’s mission to end fraud globally while maintaining compliance and resilience.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–4 years in solution engineering, sales engineering, or customer-facing technical roles.

  • Exposure to Fraud Prevention, Financial Crime, AML, KYC, or Cybersecurity technologies (hands-on preferred).

  • Experience with multi-stakeholder sales cycles and technical evaluations.

  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, SDKs, mobile/web integrations, and platform architectures.

  • Familiarity with Javascript, Typescript, and web technologies a plus.

  • Ability to work independently, communicate blockers, and seek guidance when needed.

  • Proven collaboration across Sales, Product, Engineering, and internal teams.

  • Excellent communication skills for technical and executive stakeholders.
