This sales group is responsible for selling Motorola Solution’s Mobile Broadband Push to Talk portfolio through US Partners.
Job Description

We are seeking a top-performing sales professional to drive incremental sales of our industry leading mobile broadband push to talk solutions. As a North America Channel Sales Manager, you will focus on supporting US Partners sellers in government and business markets to generate new opportunities, upsell existing customers, and drive prospecting and strategic initiatives all while maintaining excellent carrier partner/customer relationships.  Success in this role will require you to take responsibility for equipping sellers for success through product training, sharing best practices, and pre and post sales support.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the Channel Sales and technical teams to develop new accounts, while maintaining and growing existing accounts and minimizing churn

  • Work with the Channel sellers to understand business needs, issues, strategies, priorities and deliver value-added business solutions that meet a wide variety of customers’ needs

  • Build and develop networks to share information and cultivate prospects

  • Leverage industry knowledge and applications in order to develop opportunities and identify key trends and customer needs

  • Work in a matrix environment with carrier leadership, solution architects, engineers, sellers, product management, marketing and end customers

  • Develop knowledge of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) in the context of augmentation with PTT to support sales and on-boarding activities

  • Work with Carrier sales teams to train, educate and develop sales opportunity funnels by creating strategic plans to target, qualify, develop and close sales opportunities. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must. Reporting requirements include weekly activity and sales funnel to and through wireless carriers

  • A strong aptitude for crafting written communication that clarifies technical functionality and specifications to various disciplines is required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in land mobile radio communications, mobile broadband push to talk solutions, land mobile radio dispatching and interoperability 

  • 5+ years of experience in government and business sales in an indirect or direct sales environment

  • Experience selling telecommunications and/or mobility solutions direct to business and government vertical customers. Business customers include B2B small, medium and large customers in hospitality, logistics, transportation, retail, distribution, healthcare, utilities, and transportation. Government customers include federal, state, local, and education segments 

  • Demonstrated success and sustained record of meeting and exceeding sales goals/quotas

  • Strong technical knowledge of narrowband land mobile radio and broadband push to talk is required

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

  • Candidates can live anywhere in the United States

Target Base Salary Range: $67,100 - $134,700 USD
