🐶 Our mission
Every pet should get the care they need, regardless of cost. Vet med prices are up 40% since 2020, and pet owners are stuck having to pick between their bank account and furry friend. At Snout, we aim to solve this by enabling clinics to offer wellness plans that actually work.

🚀 The opportunity

Snout is one of the fastest growing wellness plan providers in the veterinary space, trusted by clinics across the U.S. We’re a small but mighty startup team and we’re on the lookout for a Nurture Clinic Success Manager based in our Troy, Michigan office to be the long-term partner that keeps our clinics growing their wellness plan enrollments year after year.

💻 The role

As a Nurture Clinic Success Manager (CSM), you’ll be the long-term partner and advisor to clinics once their wellness plans are up and running. You’ll build lasting relationships with clinic teams and leadership, run regular business reviews, and bring the ideas and programs that keep enrollments growing. You’ll report to our Head of Clinic Success and work side by side with our Onboarding Specialists and Launch Clinic Success Managers.

The Nurture team manages most of our partner clinics. Clinics start with the Launch team, and after their first three months they move to Nurture, where you'll own a book of business. You'll keep those clinics engaged, catch early signs that one is slowing down, and help them grow. That keeps clinics with Snout and pets on their plans, so more pets get affordable preventive care year after year.

If you love building relationships that last, can turn a spreadsheet into a clear plan, and get energy from bringing a struggling account back to life, we’d love to hear from you. Come help the pack keep tails wagging for the long haul!
Snout is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We know that great candidates may not check every box — and that’s okay. If you're excited about this role and our mission, we encourage you to apply if you meet at least 75% of “what we’re looking for” including the first bullet point. If you need any accommodations during the application or interview process, please let us know — we’re happy to support you.

🛠 What you’ll do

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clinic teams and leadership
  • Be the clinic’s main point of contact after launch
  • Reach out proactively instead of waiting for clinics to come to you
  • Run regular business reviews to track plan performance and clinic health
  • Monitor performance, spot clinics that are slipping, and build action plans to improve them
  • Lead turnaround efforts for clinics that have stalled or haven’t sold plans
  • Drive enrollments through ongoing engagement and incentive programs
  • Partner with Onboarding Specialists and Launch CSMs when pricing or plan changes are needed

💡What we're looking for

  • 3+ years experience in account management, customer success, or as a Practice Manager or General Manager of a veterinary clinic, human medical clinic, or similar service business
  • Excellent relationship-building and account management skills
  • Comfort leading structured business reviews with clinic leadership
  • The ability to turn performance data into a clear action plan
  • Strong problem solving and follow-through
  • Motivation to help clinics sustain and grow their results over the long term

🌟 What will make you stand out

  • Experience working in or with veterinary clinics
  • You’ve run staff incentive programs or sales contests and can share the results
  • Experience with wellness plans, memberships, or other subscription offerings
  • Tolerance for working in a fast-paced technology environment with high ambiguity
  • An interest in technology or startups

💖 Why you should join Snout

  • A chance to be a part of a mission driven company in the pet industry without having to be in clinic
  • Fast growing, venture capital backed technology company focused on improving access to veterinary care
  • Ability to have a meaningful impact from Day 1, where your voice and opinion matters
  • Unlimited potential to grow in your career, learn and expand your skillsets
  • This role is in person Monday to Friday in our Troy, MI office but we offer flexibility for your life needs

❌ Why this role might not be a fit for you

  • You cannot work in person or cannot make the daily commute to our Troy, MI office
  • A fast-paced, technology and startup environment isn’t appealing to you
  • You don’t enjoy working directly with clients, hopping on calls, presenting and teaching others
  • Working alone or on small teams doesn’t sound fun to you
  • You dislike wearing multiple hats or having a heavy workload
  • You can’t handle ambiguity and lack of structure
  • Owning a portfolio’s quarter-over-quarter growth and retention sounds more stressful than exciting

💸 Compensation

  • $55 000 - $65 000 base salary + bonus plan / $80 000 OTE

⚕️Benefits

  • Day 1 medical/dental/vision benefits
  • Flexible time off + 11 Snout calendar holidays
  • Paid parental leave
