Description:

           Operations Support will be responsible for learning the daily operating functions of all branches within the Hunton Distribution network. Will report directly to the Vice President of Operations.  This position will learn all operations of Hunton Distribution but not limited to, Purchasing, Pricing, Equipment Sales, Warranty, and various administrative duties as assigned. 

Responsibilities:

  • Will learn procedures for customer service and warehouse operations in all locations.
  • Help the Vice President of Operations oversee the operations and hold both the branch managers and individual associates accountable for superior customer service.
  • Learn Warehouse controls for all locations.
  • Learn purchasing guidelines based on fill rates and inventory turns.
  • Learn Warranty Transactions and coordinate with Trane regarding Factory issues.
  • Learn to coordinate Equipment Inside Sales w/Houston Equipment Sales Manager.
  • Learn to coordinate daily departmental requirements.
Qualifications

Minimum requirements include the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with all Infor NxTrends software currently being used by Hunton Distribution
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Trane HVAC systems.
  • Above average mathematical and deductive reasoning skills.
  • Experience Managing people.
  • Inventory Control / Purchasing experience
