We're seeking a Austin based Culture & Engagement Partner to join our team! This person will have the opportunity to work with our team and community councils to improve engagement through events, programs, our new hire orientation, and employee recognition. Our team reinforces the foundation of our culture through New Employee Orientation (NEO). We build upon that foundation with meaningful and dynamic events and programs that bring us together, celebrate our employees and help reiterate the importance of health and wellness.
The Day to Day
This is very much a hands-on role, relying on you to execute and manage multiple projects at once. The ability to multitask and take an idea from concept to execution is key! As a member of the Culture & Engagement team, the Community Partner will:

  • Contribute to strategic planning for C&E pillars, NEO, Wellness, Employee Recognition, and Community Programming
  • Support the employee journey, starting with NEO and coming up with dynamic ways to keep them engaged.
  • Execute and support NEO while working collaboratively to continually evolve the program in the best interest of our employees
  • Partner with Site Leaders to celebrate and support regional/hub based events and town halls.
  • Collaborate with Site Leaders on regional/hub budgets while maintaining primary ownership.
  • Attend community council meetings consulting and offering support when needed, and assist in the design and branding of regional events.
  • Maintain stakeholder partnerships working with key contributors within your communities
  • Partner and work with regional ERGs for local programming
  • You'll be an active member of the DEI council helping bridge knowledge and information across the business
  • Vendor management and onboarding of new and existing partners such as Wellable, Thrivepass and Calm.
  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with the Procurement team in order to onboard vendors and complete the procurement process
  • Manage the local swag, care packages and recognition process.
  • Support EE cross functional initiatives and other duties as assigned


Your Experience, Expertise and Passion
Minimum qualifications include:

  • Strong and effective communication, both written and verbal (proposals, reports, presentations)
  • Agility, flexibility, consistency and accountability to achieve a positive outcome. Relationship builder, self-starter with ability to operate collaboratively, independently and asynchronously across time zones. Thrives in an autonomous environment and just knows how to take ownership and get things done!
  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to multitask and context switch.
  • A natural "people person," with genuine care and passion for culture, community, and elevating the experience of our employees at WP Engine.
  • Creative Problem solving skills, thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • 1-3 years of related experience
