The Director of B360 Contracting is accountable for contract negotiations for B360 deals.

This is broadly across the healthcare sector ie medical groups, payers, hospital systems, and employers.

This position will play an integral role in driving the company’s performance by building, optimising, and expanding our commercial B360 business.

This position will be responsible for contracting value-based and global payment model contracts. They will be supported and help direct a deal team that includes: analyst,

finance, actuary and clinical SME resources. This role is with the B360 business development team which is part of the commercial department.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

• Negotiate value-based contracts emphasis on global percent premium deals with payers, delivery systems, and employers (other commercial entities).
• Will negotiate an initial term sheet and SOW
• Work closely with the internal legal team on actual contract
• With support of deal team negotiate the Division of Financial Responsibility (DOFR) when applicable
• Provide pro forma to client and internally of deals at confirmation stage with help of deal team
• Articulate potential deals to internal decision makers as part of approval and sign off process
• Lead the development of the contract strategy for each negotiation collaborating actuarial, analytics and financial resources (deal team) to develop the financial terms of the contract
• Collaborate broadly with internal operations and product teams in develop overall scope and plan for contract
• Work very closely with the account lead in communications and interactions with the client

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• A Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, healthcare administration, or a related field is required
• Strong professional experience in healthcare
• Experience with successfully executing and implementing value based and global risk contracts
• Strong contract negotiation skills
• Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to manage multiple contract negotiations and provider accounts in parallel
• Ability to effectively engage managed healthcare executives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners
