We looking for a Principal Operations Engineer to join our Fourth Global SaaS Operations team! This position will be responsible for maintaining our production hosting environment.

What You'll Be Doing. . .

• Maintain production hosting environment
• Leverage a common toolset to monitor, track, and analyze the logs and metrics produced by the many platforms.
• Use data to deliver a positive user experience and appropriately scale systems to meet demand via automation.
• Partner with other teams and external vendors to deliver projects and key initiatives
• Mentor and guide team members

What You Need to Have. . .

• Have significant knowledge of Windows and a fundamental understanding of Linux
• Have a solid knowledge of networking
• Be familiar with load balancing technology, both soft and hardware based
• Have previous experience of operating in one of the top three public clouds
• Understand application hosting systems such as Apache, IIS, NGINX, Tomcat
• Know how to leverage logs and metrics systems to troubleshoot and track software applications
• Experience with escalation and alerting systems such as PagerDuty
• Strong communicator, both verbally and through documentation
• Familiarity with ticketing systems
• Previous experience with and understand agile methodologies
