The Role:
Cart is seeking a Production Support Specialist to join the production support team. The production support team manages all IT related production issues for our clients and facilities. The team validates problems, provides explanations/training to external and internal users and monitors system health. The team also performs various operational tasks through scheduling tools, run programs and scripts via SSH/CLI on Linux servers. Team members are also asked to access read-only production databases (PostgreSQL and SQL Server) to gather data and write queries to fix any set of data issues as well as reading code (Python, PHP) via BitBucket to independently source answers.
The Production Support Specialist will be crucial role in the production for Cart's Fulfillment-As-A-Service vertical. This individual must be able to work the Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday shift. This individual will provide level one support and will work with other production support specialists to become an expert within our systems. This individual will assist in ensuring the team operates at an efficient pace, resolving issues and communicating these issues and go-forward solutions with the relevant parties. The ideal candidate will be highly detailed-oriented, comfortable at an early-stage start-up, a team player with a positive attitude, and thrive when faced with complexity.
What You'll Do:

  • Become a recognized technical expert with the Cart product set.
  • Work with a team of production support specialists, providing issue resolution and performing troubleshooting.
  • Present issues to the team when to address blockers
  • Use resourcefulness and quick-thinking to troubleshoot new and critical technical issues
  • Consult directly with internal parties on the solutions, aiding in any communication to clients.
  • Utilize functional product and technical knowledge to educate, problem-solve, and deliver issue resolution to our clients and facilities.
  • Participate in collective knowledge sharing through mentoring others.


Who You Are:

  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are able to problem solve and determine the best path of resolution.
  • You are able to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly motivated and able to work against aggressive schedules.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • You have knowledge of databases and queries using SQL
  • You are comfortable troubleshooting complex issues
  • You consider yourself detail-oriented, passionate about quality and enthusiastic about new technology


What You've Done:

  • You have 2+ years' experience in production support
  • You have experience with ERP (NetSuite, Magento, etc.), ecommerce (Shopify, etc.) or warehouse management systems (Manhattan Associates, etc.)


Nice to Haves:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree
  • You have experience with applying Agile methodology
  • You have experience with analytical programming languages such as SQL
  • You have demonstrated software testing experience.

Our headquarters is located in Austin, Tx at the address listed. The majority of our roles are flexible hybrid for employees who live within the cities where we have offices and remote for employees who are not located in those cities.
