ABOUT THE ROLE


We seeking for a Senior Manager, Provider Workforce Scheduling to join our fastest growing US Provider Operations team. You will play a key role in managing all Babylon’s network of clinicians in the US, with a primary focus on provider scheduling, provider operational performance, and provider inquiry management.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • Oversee end-to-end provider scheduling for babylon’s provider network
  • Partner with analytics team to drive provider workforce planning - ensure adequate staffing to meet babylon’s wait-time service level agreements while balancing budget and provider satisfaction considerations
  • Manage provider schedules to ensure proper coverage in a very complex scheduling environment
  • Identifies reporting capabilities needed to support real-time reporting of business performance against target KPIs; works with analytics team to build dashboards
  • Proactively identifies strategies to ensure babylon hits any provider-driven service level agreement obligations set forth by commercial agreements
  • Responsible for developing and implementing provider scheduling strategic objectives and KPIs in service of Babylon’s company-wide vision, mission, and OKRs
  • Authors perspectives how the provider scheduling organization should be structured to support future growth 
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships with front-line clinicians in order to boost engagement, productivity, job satisfaction, and maximize retention
  • Performs ongoing pain points assessments to identify opportunities for improvement within the provider scheduling team
  • Performs continuous process improvement across all processes needed to run the provider scheduling functionIdentifies tooling solutions that can be used to automate existing processes
  • Partners with product team, and external tooling vendors, to identify opportunities for improvements across existing tooling capabilities
  • Partners with other business functions across babylon to drive collaboration and identify cross-functional opportunities for improvement
  • Partners with clinical leadership to identify opportunities for improvement, and implement relevant process or tooling solutions
  • Optimizes existing communications channels strategy, both within the provider scheduling team and with babylon’s network of providers
  • Hire, train, mentor, develop and evaluate performance of direct reports; ensure appropriate succession and capacity planning
  • Lead ad hoc provider operations-related projects as requested by leadership

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 7+ years of experience in provider workforce scheduling operations
  • 5+ years management experience in a fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance 
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Quick learner who is organised, consistent, reliable and with high attention to detail
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Target/KPI-driven, with demonstrated experience of exceeding targets in previous roles
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to change in accordance with business priorities
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Strong proficiency with Google suite of productivity applications
  • Willingness to pitch in and assist with other projects and share responsibilities, as needed
