The Training Specialist plays a pivotal role in our rapid expansion to educate and enable both our customers and internal teams. The ideal person is an experienced trainer who can support our training strategy and help execute on that strategy. A successful candidate will be passionate about learning and facilitation, excited about the prospect of working with a wide range of stakeholders, and you’ve got to care about the world of social care.
We are giving preference to candidates who are located in Austin, TX.
Objectives:
- Lead new hire orientation, classroom, and online product training sessions
- Coordinate various training facilitators across findhelp departments
- In collaboration with the Training Manager, support and help implement a strategic vision for education across the company
- Support and help implement successful customer training programs
- Develop and deliver training solutions that meet our internal and external needs
Responsibilities:
- Designs and delivers quality training to customers and internal team members based on adult learning principles and best practices
- Continually evaluates training delivery and actively ensures the organization is up-to-date and current with industry best practices
- Conducts post-training assessments to identify areas of improvement and transfer of knowledge
- Helps assess training functions across the company and executes on recommended improvements
- Updates training curriculum and ensures training programs are current, accurate, and effective
- Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for education
- Works closely with Product to ensure training materials are kept up to date
- Identifies and escalates feedback, if needed, to management on any risks and issues related to product adoption, technology, and/or knowledge
- Identifies training gaps and works with the Training Manager to design training to cover those gaps
We are looking for someone with a track record in being part of successful training / education programs, and prefer a person with experience with a technical training background and a passion for facilitation. You must have 1+ years of experience with designing and delivering both customer and team member training and some experience with curriculum design is a plus. You must have a familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.). Experience with learning management systems and online training tools is a plus. Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM™) or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) a plus.
