Leader of the PPA team within Commercial that establishes and drives our provider partnerships in or United States sales regions. Responsible for Babylon’s PPA growth including building provider partnerships across the United States. This person will lead the team that supports you across provider outreach, contracting, analytics, and project management. You will work closely with market Provider Alliance Leads to collaboratively develop strategic growth plans for several states in a given region and execute against this plan with the broader support from the wider Babylon Commercial team. Focus on building a national provider network to partner with Babylon on mainly value-based opportunities and giving more of the US access to the Babylon platform and accountable for growth in contracted providers and lives under management.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • Create and develop strategic growth plans in partnership with market-level leaders and broadly with the commercial team
  • Execute against growth plans in accordance with strategic growth plans, through the creation of tactical plans that include local marketing, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, membership referrals, and various other business development initiatives
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in and across various new geographies that support broader Company growth plans, including health plans, medical associations, health systems, and influential physician groups
  • Attract and retain new physician practice partners by developing creative outreach strategies aligned with Company’s overall marketing and sales approach that emphasize practice selection
  • Optimize the growth approach to prioritize growth in Company revenue potential
  • Inform the Company’s approach to new forms of partnership engagement, including work with IPAs, MSOs, and local support organizations (e.g., accounting, legal, finance, etc.)Identify and develop opportunities in new business segments (e.g., regional health systems, community hospitals, etc.).

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Able to develop and communicate an effective strategy around that others can understand and deliver against
  • Strong leadership skills that will motivate and deliver a team that executes against high targets
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills internally and externally, building collaboration and partnerships
  • Keen judgment used in making strategic decisions
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to clearly present our value-based care approaches
  • Confident, logical problem solving, manage complex programs and analytical tasks from conception to delivery
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions intelligently, with strong financial and commercial discipline 
  • Excellent organization skills and strong ability to effectively operate under high-pressure environments, with high levels of ambiguity and to tight deadlines
  • You have a master’s degree or other advanced degrees in management, health services research, health and/or public policy, or other relevant fields is preferred
  • You are able to manage a multidisciplinary team to achieve specific commercial targets and outcomes
  • Significant experience with value-based care 
  • Direct experience with healthcare provider organizations
  • You have at least 5-8 years of related experience working as a client-facing project lead in the healthcare industry (i.e., health plan, hospital, pharmaceutical manufacturer, government, pharmacy chain, management consulting) with a proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing customer relationships and communicating effectively with senior management
  • You have made relevant sales
  • Your relevant competencies include developing and maintaining customer relationships, analytical problem solving, project management, effective written and verbal communication, and strategic insight
  • You must be results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead a team to consistently meet deadlines and client expectations
  • You are comfortable with travel 
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining focus on key goals.
