VP, US Quality and Governance
Reporting to the US General Manager, the VP of US Quality and Governance is a vital member of the US management team and is responsible for ensuring Babylon can safely and effectively execute on its strategy to put an affordable and accessible healthcare service into the hands of every person on earth. We seek a leader who can promote a culture of safety and innovation throughout the US organization, and partner with Babylon’s other regional Quality and Governance leaders to develop a global Quality and Safety framework for the company.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
- Lead in the development and updating of the comprehensive quality strategy
- Administrative oversight: directly oversee multiple functional managers and their respective teams that have responsibility for quality assurance, quality improvement, process improvement, compliance, regulatory, risk management over Babylon's US value-based, virtual care delivery platform.
- Develop and infuse into the organization a continuous improvement approach to performance management, including provision of operating protocols and standards, and adoption of standard workflows.
- Ensure Babylon’s US clinical operations remain compliant with all federal, state and local regulations governing telehealth.
- Develop and deploy a telehealth clinician performance management system, underpinned by a balanced scorecard reflecting all domains of performance.Develop a toolkit and training to engage all frontline staff in quality improvement efforts.
- Work collaboratively with payors to ensure Babylon meets or exceeds all relevant quality standards
- Partner with leaders in Babylon’s other regions (UK, Rwanda and SE Asia) to develop global standards for Quality and Governance
- Other tasks and projects assigned by the General Manager, US Clinical Operations
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of experience in quality management and/ or process improvement
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role or indirectly partnering with large healthcare teams, driving quality and compliance measures
- Ability to evaluate outcomes and gaps in order to determine appropriate training or appropriate next steps
- Demonstrated effectiveness in cross-departmental collaboration
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- Experience with digit first primary care services and/or telemedicine preferred
