Role overview:

Our team operates within the ‘Services Commercial’ group who are dedicated to driving growth and engagement of PlayStation’s subscription services. This wider group strives to maximise new subscriber acquisition, improve subscriber retention, and provide a compelling reason for people to return to the service year after year. Our core product, PlayStation Plus, is critically important to PlayStation’s vision and strategy.

This role reports into the Subscription Optimization team who are responsible for delivery, execution, Go-to-Market organization and optimization of processes, campaigns and initiatives across the ‘Services Commercial’ group.

The successful candidate will help shape how we engage PlayStation Plus subscribers – ensuring campaigns feel timely, rewarding, and aligned to what players value most in their subscription. With a mix of creative thinking and analytical focus, you’ll support the delivery of campaigns across key touchpoints, including benefit messaging, upsell nudges, retention tactics, and major moments.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role that works closely with cross-functional teams to make our campaigns smarter, sharper, and more effective. You’ll contribute to testing and refinement efforts, help improve targeting and workflows, and ensure our messages reach the right players in the right way. Whether it’s reminding customers to renew to keep enjoying their benefits, supporting a big content release, or fine-tuning how we engage players, you’ll play a core role in helping Plus feel like a service built around our players—every single day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Plan and Deliver Subscriber Campaigns

    • Lead campaign planning across always-on and high-impact moments (e.g. monthly games, events, catalogue drops)

    • Coordinate briefings and execution across CRM, Creative, Experience, and Marketing teams

    • Create campaign playbooks that distinguish BAU from moments that require elevated strategy and creative effort

  • Optimize Customer Touchpoints

    • Monitor campaign performance and surface opportunities to improve targeting, timing, or message clarity

    • Identify friction points in the subscriber journey and propose improvements

    • Increase efficiency of internal processes for campaign tracking, planning, and cross-functional alignment

  • Refine Targeting and Support Experimentation

    • Develop audience strategies that ensure targeting is relevant, effective, and avoids conflicts across campaigns and experiments.

    • Support message testing and experimentation to improve campaign performance

    • Collaborate with Product and Analytics teams to enhance tools and systems that support targeting and delivery

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, process optimisation or project management roles

  • A tenacity to understand your product, not just how customers use it, but how the technology works behind the scenes

  • Strong organisational skills, structured thinker with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple requests at the same time

  • Strong communicator and collaborator to rally teams together behind initiatives

  • Drive to improve on existing processes and not accept ‘good enough’ or ‘the norm’

  • Preferred: An understanding of Gaming and Subscriptions customers and their needs

  • Preferred: Understanding of Subscription model businesses
