Job Description 


We are urgently hiring a motivated Outside Sales Representative / Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a driven Account Executive, Account Manager, or Territory Sales Representative with experience in industrial sales or construction-related industries.


The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving sales growth for our pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) systems. This outside sales role requires a consultative sales professional who can identify client needs, present customized building solutions, and guide customers through the sales process from initial contact through project delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and prospect new clients within the commercial and industrial sectors, focusing on potential buyers of pre-engineered metal building systems.

  • Actively develop new sales opportunities within assigned territories as a Territory Sales Representative.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential projects to support long-term sales growth.

  • Meet with prospective clients to understand their project needs and provide tailored metal building solutions.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and Account Manager for clients throughout the sales process.

  • Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, architects, and engineers to drive repeat industrial sales and referrals.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Allied’s PEMB systems, including design options, engineering specifications, and customization features.

  • Provide technical guidance to clients to ensure optimal building design, functionality, and project success.

  • Prepare accurate and competitive pricing proposals based on project specifications while maintaining company profitability.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining clear communication with clients.

  • Work to secure favorable terms for both the company and the customer.

  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution from sale to delivery.

  • Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Provide post-sale support and resolve issues that may arise during construction or installation.



Requirements

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative, Outside Sales Representative, Account Executive, or Territory Sales Representative.

  • Experience in industrial sales, construction products, structural steel, or pre-engineered metal building systems preferred.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in an outside sales environment.

  • Experience using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales tools.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and territory management.


Preferred Skills:


  • Previous experience working with architectural, engineering, and construction teams.

  • Technical understanding of metal building systems or structural steel.

  • Experience with Excel, MBS (Metal Building Software), AutoCAD, and Bluebeam is a plus.
