Outside Sales Representative - Residential  

Must be in Austin! Salary + Commissions (paid monthly) + Bonus Opportunity 

Urgently Hiring– Dry Force is seeking Outside Sales Consultants for full-time positions in Austin.

NO COLD CALLING! NO DOOR TO DOOR SALES! Although, sales professionals who have had these types of sales positions do EXTREMELY well! Your route will be comprised of HOT LEADS from homeowners that need your help! Our customer service team pre-screens, pre-qualifies and sets up appointments with customers for you. We are being referred by the plumber or HVAC company they hired already; you are already one step closer than the competition to getting the ‘Yes’ needed to help them and their family. Dry Force’s signature Outside Sales training program offers three weeks of in-depth combination of classroom, role-play, and field training to launch your Outside Sales Consultant career in less than 30 days! 

As an Outside Sales Consultant, you will determine the scope of work to aid homeowners in their time of need and secure their ‘Yes’ to engage with the most well recognized and respected restoration company in Texas (>3,000 homeowner reviews averaging 4.8 stars across all of our locations). This position requires no cold calling or door to door sales, instead relying on your rapport building techniques and genuine empathy to complete the “one visit close” and begin the homeowner’s journey to restoring their home to pre-loss condition.   


Responsibilities:   

  • Provide solutions to homeowners in their time of need by quickly building trust, showing empathy, and explaining Dry Force’s capabilities
  • Evaluate nature of loss and prepare proposed job scope using moisture meters and other company-provided technology 
  • Prepare proposed engagement for homeowner, secure work authorization, and coach homeowner through payment options (including Dry Force’s experience working with all major carriers) while onsite
  • Stabilize moisture content of affected areas by beginning the drying process and setting homeowner expectations for subsequent work
  • Communicate job status with customers, company management, and insurance carriers  
  • Process all documentation and ensure it is completed in a timely manner  

 

Qualifications:   

  • You are highly motivated, have a strong work ethic and enjoy the selling process (with 3+ years of outside selling experience)
  • You are able to build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships
  • You have strong communications skills – interpersonal, written, presenting
  • You can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups
  • Given the nature of water mitigation services, you should be comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics
  • You should be comfortable working with computers, mobile devices (i.e. tablets) and documenting details of a job using electronic devices
  • You have a valid driver’s license and successfully clear a background/drug test 
  • You must be able to work overtime as needed, some holidays, and weather-related surge events
