Paid Marketing Program Manager

We’re looking for a strategic and highly analytical Paid Marketing Program Manager who can design, execute, and scale multi-channel paid marketing campaigns to drive business growth. The ideal candidate brings a passion for the outdoors paired with proven experience using digital advertising to reach, engage, and convert customers at scale. In this role, you’ll combine deep analytical rigor with creative experimentation to optimize performance across paid social, paid search, display, and emerging digital advertising channels.  
 
You must reside in one of these US states: AZ, CO, FL, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NV, OR, PA, RI, TX, VA, VT, WI or one of these provinces in Canada: Ontario 
 
What You’ll Do:  

Campaign Strategy & Execution: 

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across channels like Meta, Google, Bing and YouTube.  

  • Orchestrate multi-touch campaigns aimed at achieving key marketing objectives and business priorities. 

Analytical Leadership:  

  • Establish and analyze key performance metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion rate) to inform and influence marketing strategy and investment decisions. 

  • Build and evolve performance dashboards and reporting frameworks to provide timely insights to both stakeholders and senior leaders. 

Experimentation & Optimization:  

  • Drive A/B and CRO experimentation across areas like ad creative/copy, landing pages, audiences, and bidding strategies. 

  • Leverage data and test results to iterate rapidly and scale impact on the program. 

Cross-Channel & Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Closely partner with teams like creative, product, data, and content to develop high performing campaigns. 

  • Coordinate campaign timelines and deliverables across teams to ensure omni-channel campaigns are properly executed. 

Innovation & Channel Expansion: 

  • Explore and test new paid channels, technologies, and tactics to expand reach and marketing performance. 

  • Act as an internal subject matter expert on paid digital marketing platform changes, trends and best practices.  

Performance Culture & Continuous Improvement: 

  • Champion a culture of continuous optimization, iterative learning, and knowledge sharing across departments. 

  • Ensure forecasts, budgets, and advertising plans align with company goals and business priorities. 

What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 7+ years of direct ownership of paid digital marketing channels, performance and seven-figure monthly ad budgets.  

  • Hands-on experience running campaigns across paid platforms including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, Bing and common Display Networks.  

  • Proven track record of driving measurable business growth (revenue, contribution margin) or acquisition efficiency gains (CAC, ROAS). 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define success metrics, analyze campaign performance, and translate data into clear, actionable insights. 

  • Experience with experimentation and A/B testing of ad creative, copy, audiences, bidding strategies, and landing pages. 

  • Experience working with marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, AttributionApp, native ad platforms and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker).  

  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and performance accountability. 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally.  

  • Growth mindset with a demonstrated ability to stay current on paid media trends, platform changes, and emerging marketing technologies. 

  • Experience working with subscription, education, or consumer digital products is a plus.

Improves team efficiency by developing internal workflows, reporting structures, and testing protocols. 

Market Awareness 
Stays current on trends and competitor strategies in the digital advertising landscape. 

Optimization & A/B Testing 
Executes testing strategies to iterate and improve ad performance across platforms.
