Employment: Full-time

About OpenArt

OpenArt is a Silicon Valley-based Gen AI startup building an AI creative platform used by creators around the world. Our team of 200+ people works globally across product, AI, design, creative, and marketing.

We move fast, launch frequently, and produce a high volume of creative across paid social, organic social, creators, product launches, and brand campaigns.

We’re looking for a Paid Media Creative Strategist who can help us turn that creative output into a high-performing paid acquisition engine.

About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of creative strategy, paid media, and performance analytics.

You’ll own the creative strategy behind our paid social campaigns, from identifying audiences and developing concepts to writing briefs, planning tests, analyzing performance, and deciding what we make next.

You should be equally comfortable looking at Meta performance data and asking “why did this ad win?” as you are writing five new hooks based on that insight.

You will work closely with our growth team, motion designers, video editors, influencer team, and social team to continuously produce and test new paid creative.

This is not a traditional media buying role. Your primary responsibility is making our creative perform better.

What You’ll DoOwn Paid Creative Strategy

Lead creative strategy across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and other paid channels. Identify the audiences, insights, hooks, messaging angles, formats, and offers we should test.

Build & Run Creative Testing

Develop a structured testing system across concepts, hooks, audiences, formats, visuals, CTAs, and landing pages. Build meaningful creative variation and continuously identify new winners.

Turn Performance Into Creative

Analyze creative-level performance to understand what’s winning, what isn’t, and why. Turn those insights into clear hypotheses and the next round of concepts to test.

Develop Concepts, Briefs & Ad Copy

Create paid concepts across UGC, creator-led ads, product demos, social-native ads, static, and motion. Write clear creative briefs, hooks, scripts, headlines, and ad copy that align with the creative and our key product marketing messages.

Work With Creators & Influencers

Partner with our UGC and influencer teams to turn strong organic content into paid creative and identify opportunities for whitelisting and partnership ads.

Stay Ahead of What’s Working

Track ads, competitors, trends, and creative patterns then apply those learnings to our paid creative strategy.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in paid creative strategy, performance marketing, growth marketing, or a closely related role

  • Proven experience developing paid social creative that drove measurable performance

  • Strong understanding of Meta advertising and paid social creative

  • Experience building and running creative testing frameworks

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with paid media performance data

  • Excellent copywriting, especially hooks, short-form scripts, headlines, and direct-response messaging

  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and internet culture

  • Experience briefing and working with video editors, motion designers, designers, and creators

  • Ability to move quickly from performance insight to creative hypothesis to test

  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced remote environment

  • Genuine interest in AI and how people are using AI tools to create content

Bonus Points
  • Experience marketing AI, SaaS, creator, or prosumer products

  • Experience scaling paid acquisition for a fast-growing consumer technology company

  • Hands-on Meta media buying experience

  • Experience with creator whitelisting / partnership ads

  • Experience with attribution and analytics platforms

  • Experience using Gen AI tools for creative ideation or production

  • Strong knowledge of AI creator culture and the current generative AI landscape

Why OpenArt
  • Join a Silicon Valley-based Gen AI startup with a global team of 200+ people

  • Work on one of the fastest-growing categories in technology

  • Experiment with the latest AI image and video models

  • USD compensation

  • Fully remote
