We are looking for a hands-on Paid Media & Tracking Assistant to support our digital advertising, analytics, and tracking efforts across multiple paid media platforms. The ideal candidate has practical experience setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting advertising pixels, events, conversion tracking, and analytics systems, with a strong understanding of how paid traffic is measured and optimized.

You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure that campaigns are properly tracked, conversions are accurately recorded, and our tracking infrastructure provides reliable data for reporting and optimization. This role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys working directly with ad platforms, analytics tools, event tracking, and campaign data rather than focusing solely on strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, manage, and troubleshoot Meta Pixel, Meta Events Manager, and custom events/conversions.

  • Support paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

  • Define and maintain a clear event tracking structure, including event names, parameters, properties, and conversion definitions.

  • Implement and validate pixels, events, conversion tracking, UTM parameters, and other tracking solutions across websites and campaigns.

  • Work with the tracking stack, including PostHog, GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Meta Events Manager, Brevo, and Microsoft Clarity.

  • Monitor tracking performance and investigate discrepancies between advertising platforms, analytics tools, and website data.

  • Debug tracking issues and identify why an event or conversion is not firing correctly, rather than only setting up campaigns.

  • Test and validate events across different platforms to ensure that data is being captured accurately and consistently.

  • Ensure that key events and conversions are properly defined, recorded, and attributed across the relevant platforms.

  • Assist with campaign setup, audience tracking, retargeting, and conversion measurement.

  • Analyze campaign and tracking data to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.

  • Work with websites, landing pages, and analytics tools to ensure proper data collection and attribution.

  • Help maintain organized tracking documentation and ensure that event naming and tracking structures remain consistent.

  • Stay up to date with changes to advertising platforms, tracking technologies, attribution, and privacy requirements.

  • Support testing and troubleshooting of new tracking setups before campaigns go live.

Preferred Experience
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Meta Pixel, Meta Events Manager, and custom events/conversions.

  • Experience with TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

  • Practical experience with PostHog, GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Microsoft Clarity, and Brevo.

  • Strong understanding of event tracking concepts, including event names, parameters, properties, conversion definitions, and attribution.

  • Experience troubleshooting tracking issues and identifying why events or conversions may not be firing, recording, or attributing correctly.

  • Familiarity with server-side tracking / Conversions API is a strong plus.

  • Experience with newer or emerging advertising platforms, including ChatGPT Ads, would be a significant advantage.

  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, dashboards, and campaign performance reports.

  • Strong attention to detail and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is practical, detail-oriented, and technically curious. You should be comfortable getting into the actual ad platforms and tracking tools, testing events yourself, investigating discrepancies, and figuring out why something is not working as expected.

The ideal candidate should be able to go beyond simply setting up campaigns or implementing pixels. They should understand how the entire tracking flow works, from defining an event and its parameters to ensuring that it fires correctly, is captured by the relevant analytics tools, and is ultimately reflected as a meaningful conversion.

You do not need to be an advanced developer, but you should be confident working with tracking tools, advertising platforms, basic website elements, and analytics systems. Experience working across multiple paid media channels and the ability to quickly learn and troubleshoot new platforms are highly valued.
