Job Title: Partner – MGA

Location: US – Texas

Position Type: Full-Time


Augment Risk is a global capital risk solutions intermediary, partnering with clients to structure and place innovative solutions. We specialize in bespoke risk transfer strategies, leveraging deep expertise across geographies and disciplines, including Structured Reinsurance, MGA, ILS, Legacy, Parametric, and Captives. Our trusted, boutique approach combines agility, transparency, and creative thinking to deliver optimal outcomes for our clients.

The role:

As a Partner in Augment Risk’s MGA & Program Solutions team, you will be responsible for originating, structuring, and delivering program transactions. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, driving origination strategy and shaping bespoke solutions that leverage Augment’s full capital solutions platform.


Responsibilities:

• Origination:

Lead the development of new business opportunities through established relationships, proactive market engagement, and strategic partnerships.

• Client Ownership:

Manage and grow a portfolio of MGA and program clients, acting as their primary advisor on structure, placement, and capital strategy.

• Program Structuring and Placement: Design and execute program transactions, supported by Augment’s analytical team.

• Market Leadership: Build and deepen relationships across MGAs, carriers, reinsurers, and alternative capital providers, contributing to Augment’s market presence and intelligence.

• Cross-Platform Integration: Collaborate with Augment’s specialists in structured reinsurance, ILS, parametric, captive and legacy solutions to deliver integrated outcomes for clients.

• Team Leadership: Mentor and support Associates and Associate Partners, fostering origination skills and contributing to team capability development.

• Strategic Contribution: Help shape the direction of Augment’s MGA & Program Solutions platform, including its growth strategy, proposition, and external positioning.


Experience:

• Extensive experience originating and placing program, MGA, or fronted transactions.

• Deep understanding of US program market dynamics, including carrier–reinsurer alignment, capital efficiency, and alternative capacity structures.

• Proven track record of originating and managing complex transactions and long-term client relationships.

• Entrepreneurial and analytical mindset, with the ability to design innovative solutions that drive growth for clients and Augment.

• Collaborative leader who thrives in a high-performance environment and is motivated by defining, not following, the future of the program market.
