Meet the team behind this journey

We are looking for a Partner Sales Manager to lead our go-to-market efforts across the Americas. As part of our Global Partnerships team, you will be responsible for driving revenue through a diverse ecosystem of Resellers, Distributors, Systems Integrators (SIs), and Technology & Cloud partners.

You will be the primary engine for partner-driven growth in North and South America, focusing on generating commercial pipeline and achieving success through high-impact collaborations. You are a builder who thrives on creating repeatable, scalable GTM programs and evangelizing DeepL’s value proposition to the partner community.

Your Responsibilities
  • Execute Regional Strategy: Develop and execute the Americas regional channel plan, driving revenue through resellers and distributors while establishing scalable programs for long-term growth.

  • Recruit & Activate: Identify and onboard high-impact partners across the Americas, focusing on strategic players (e.g., major software resellers, regional distributors, and key SIs).

  • Drive Co-Selling: Drive strategic alignment between DeepL and our partners to accelerate co-selling, ensuring DeepL achieves "pole position" within their portfolios.

  • GTM Planning: Support the development of joint business plans that include sourcing net-new opportunities and co-marketing initiatives to drive revenue impact.

  • Internal Alignment: Collaborate closely with Americas Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leads to ensure partner-attached revenue and consistent partner experiences.

  • Enablement & Training: Lead business development activities and enable partners to successfully position DeepL’s AI productivity portfolio.

  • Operational Excellence: Use partner tooling (e.g., Salesforce, PRM, Crossbeam, Tackle.io) to manage deal registration, pipeline accuracy, and partner workflows.

Qualities we look for
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Sales or Partnerships, specifically working with Resellers, Distributors, SIs and Cloud vendors in the SaaS or AI space.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in obtaining and overachieving on revenue targets through partner ecosystems.

  • Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Americas partner landscape, including VAR models, distribution, and cloud marketplaces.

  • Technical Literacy: Knowledge of the AI/ML landscape or the translation/localization market is a significant advantage.

  • Communication: Fluency in English is required; fluency in Spanish is a strong plus given the Americas focus.

  • Agility: Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment with a self-directed, results-oriented mindset.

Strong Candidates May Also Have
  • Experience with AI/ML platform partnerships

  • Background in corporate development or strategy consulting with experience evaluating and structuring transformational deals

  • Previous experience at high-growth enterprise software companies during periods of rapid scale, particularly in roles involving platform partnerships or ecosystem development

  • Understanding of foundational AI model capabilities and enterprise AI adoption patterns, with insight into how technical capabilities translate to business value

  • Track record of building and scaling new business models from concept through execution, particularly in B2B technology environments
