Job Summary

The Partner Specialist will serve as the primary subject-matter expert on product, sales, and program information, training sales teams and facilitating partner campaigns. This role involves conducting meetings with sales teams, manufacturers, and customers, managing a sales pipeline, and processing partner deal registrations. Additionally, the specialist will create and maintain training content, monitor CRM submissions, and stay informed on new product offerings and certifications.

Role Description

  • Act as a primary subject-matter expert for product, sales, and program information.

  • Train sales teams on partner products and programs, and how customers can benefit by using their core products.

  • Conduct conference calls/meetings with Sales teams, manufacturer Sales teams, and customers to sell partner products and solutions.

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline on an ongoing basis through CRM and Excel.

  • Manage and process Partner Deal Registration and/or other strategic pricing programs.

  • Create and maintain content on internal team sites, including training decks and presentations.

  • Execute on partner campaigns and initiatives aligning with Sales teams.

  • Monitor CRM for submitted Deal Registrations request and submit them to the partner.

  • Stay up to date on new product technology offerings, as well as partner-specific trainings and certifications.

  • Provide excellent support to both customers and the SHI sales organization.

Skill Level Requirements

  • The ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently - Basic

  • Proficiency in utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage and analyze customer interactions and data throughout the customer lifecycle, improving customer service, retention, and sales growth - Basic

  • The ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with business partners, ensuring collaborative success and strategic alignment - Basic

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

  • Ability to work flexible hours

  • Willingness to obtain and maintain Partners’ Certifications during employment

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $45,000 - $80,000 which includes a base plus bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
