About the Position:
The Partner Strategy & Operations team plays a critical role in supporting the Alliances organization, overseeing the full lifecycle of our system integrator (SI), reseller, and outsourced service provider (OSP) partnerships. As a strategic partner to the business, the team delivers data-driven insights that illuminate how partners influence every stage of the customer lifecycle.

This role focuses on transforming complex data into actionable intelligence and executive-level storytelling. Key deliverables include developing advanced analytical models, conducting deep-dive performance analyses, building scalable reporting solutions, and crafting high-impact, executive-ready presentations that drive alignment and decision-making across Salesforce leadership.

The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams and gain exposure to senior executives. Your work will directly enable stakeholders and leadership to make informed, proactive decisions by providing the insights, tools, and frameworks needed to shape effective, data-driven partner strategies.

The successful candidate will have a relentless curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analyses to identify opportunities. Moreover, they will excel at developing recommendations that transcend the numbers. Ideally, this person will have worked at a top-tier management consultancy, an investment bank, or financial institution, or acted in a similar capacity, and will feel comfortable interacting with senior management on a regular basis.   

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver clear, compelling presentations for senior executive audiences

  • Design, develop, and interpret key partner growth metrics, including gap analysis, targeting strategies, campaign execution, market readiness measurement, and training effectiveness

  • Lead ongoing business performance analyses to inform day-to-day operations and drive continuous improvement

  • Support strategic initiatives and operational reviews by identifying actionable opportunities for improvement

  • Translate data into insights and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making

  • Advise on organizational design and structure by evaluating alignment opportunities and assessing operational impact

Target Skills/Experience:

  • 8-10 years work experience focused on quantitative analysis, Excel and logical reasoning; experience using databases for analysis

  • Strong executive presentation skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint / Google Slides presentations

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions

  • Creativity in developing actionable recommendations for presentation to senior management

  • Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in an analytical discipline such as economics, business, computer science, engineering, etc.

  • Work experience in consulting or finance is a plus

  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, and/or Snowflake (or similar analytical packages) a plus

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $150,100 - $227,000 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $180,200 - $247,900 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
