About Flex

Flex was founded to solve a simple but costly problem: making it easy for health and wellness brands to accept HSA and FSA payments online. Our technology verifies product eligibility in real time, handles split payments for eligible and non-eligible items, and can even issue Letters of Medical Necessity during checkout. With $150 billion in annual HSA/FSA spending potential, we’re giving brands the tools to unlock new revenue and making it easier for consumers to use the benefits they’ve earned.
We’re a growth stage startup backed by Y-Combinator, SV Angel, Liquid2, First Round, Core VC, and Precursor Ventures, with angels from Stripe, Shippo, Unit21, and OpenAI.
We ascribe to Netflix’s “Dream Team” culture and strive for every team member to be exceptional in their role and as teammates. Our team is remote across US time zones – given this, the ability to operate autonomously is an absolute must.

About the Role

We’re looking for the rare partner success manager who excels at building strong relationships with partners but is also operationally minded. The scope of the role will include onboarding and retaining customers, surfacing partner feedback to internal teams, increasing use of Flex’s products by partners to drive positive results, and coordinating the production of case studies, reviews, and testimonials.

  • Owner Mindset - Is deeply curious and challenges how things are done. They have a strong bias for action and drive fast experimentation.

  • Ambitious - Wants an opportunity to prove themselves while working closely with Leadership as we learn and apply learnings quickly.

What We're Looking For

Hard requirements:

  • 4+ years of partner/customer success and/or account management

  • Previous startup experience, ideally at a seed through series B startup

  • Experience at the Mid-Market account segment level at a minimum, with Enterprise and High Growth/Accelerated startup exposure desired

Nice to have:

  • Preference for individuals who have worked with either consumer brands or at B2B2C businesses

  • Preference for individuals who have worked to support a technical product

  • Experience in fintech

Mindset:

  • Low Ego - You’re not above any task. You readily accept feedback and view it as an opportunity for growth.

  • Collaborative - You thrive in team settings, naturally working across functions to drive the best outcomes for our customers.

  • Hustler - You put in the effort required to make things happen.

  • Organized - You know your accounts like the back of your hand and your documentation is always up to date with details.

  • Self starter - You know how to teach yourself new tools, skills etc.

Why This Role?

You’ll play a critical role in getting partners live and successful, while working closely with a small, collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who likes being close to real partner problems and seeing the direct impact of their work.
