ABOUT THE TEAM

The marketing team amplifies Mural’s story to the world through creative, strategic, and measurable programs that drive awareness and engagement. We’re a collaborative group of marketers, storytellers, and relationship builders passionate about connecting with customers and partners in meaningful ways. Together, we shape how the world experiences Mural through events, partnerships, and thought leadership.

YOUR MISSION

You’ll build and run a global events and partnerships program that drives demand, pipeline, and market presence. You’ll develop the strategy, execute the plan, and make sure every event creates a measurable business outcome — not just a great experience. This is a full-funnel role that moves prospects through the entire lifecycle and supports one of the most important motions for generating new business.

You’ll bring our brand into the market in a way that converts: engaging target accounts, surfacing new business sponsors, activating features like AI that aren’t fully adopted, and positioning Mural as a thought leader. This role requires a strong sales mindset, a data-driven approach, and tight coordination with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Build and run a global events strategy that drives demand, pipeline, and market presence

  • Create the full-funnel motion for events, from pre-event planning through post-event follow-up

  • Ensure every event has a clear sales motion and measurable business impact

  • Own event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline KPIs, partnering with Sales, Demand Gen, and RevOps to improve conversion

  • Establish KPIs, manage budgets, and report on the impact of events and partnerships on ARR, MQLs, SQLs, and brand visibility

  • Identify and manage strategic partnerships with industry associations and organizations

  • Plan and execute flagship events, field activations, customer gatherings, and third-party conferences

  • Develop co-marketing and co-hosted programs that support top- and mid-funnel goals

  • Elevate Mural’s brand through high-quality experiences, thought leadership opportunities, and strong in-market presence

  • Create scalable processes, templates, and playbooks that make the events program repeatable and efficient

  • Travel up to 25% for regional events, customer engagement, partner meetings, and in-market insights

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS events, field marketing, partnerships, and demand generation programs

  • A track record of running events and programs tied to pipeline, not just attendance or awareness

  • Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills, especially with Sales, Demand Gen, Product Marketing, and Customer Success

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with a high bar for detail and follow-through

  • Deep knowledge of event marketing, experiential marketing, and full-funnel demand strategies

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience using event platforms, CRM systems, and attribution tools

  • Ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and evaluate program ROI

  • Comfort navigating fast-moving environments and building programs from scratch

  • Experience developing scalable processes, templates, and playbooks

  • Comfort using AI tools to enhance workflows, content development, and decision-making

The base salary for this role ranges from $176,000 - $220,000 + bonus + benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
