The People Administrator plays an important role in creating a great experience for our UVC team members and leaders. This role is ideal for someone who loves helping others, enjoys solving problems, and thrives on keeping things organized and moving forward. In this role, you will:

The People Administrator reports to the Senior Director of People Operations and will work remotely, supporting our People team to provide the best partnership.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
Tier One People Support:
- Serve as a first point of contact for team members and leaders submitting questions or requests through the HelpDesk, People Inbox, and other established support channels.
- Resolve routine People-related questions using established policies, procedures, knowledge resources, and People systems.
- Provide timely, professional, and customer-focused communication regarding the status and resolution of inquiries.
- Review and triage incoming People tickets, requests, and inquiries to determine the appropriate next step or resource.
- Route or escalate matters requiring specialized knowledge, interpretation, or decision-making to the appropriate People Partner, Payroll resource, or COE.
- Gather required information and documentation from team members and leaders to facilitate timely resolution of requests.
- Partner with members of the People and Payroll teams to support efficient and consistent service delivery.
- Manage assigned requests in accordance with established service expectations and escalation procedures.
- Document ticket activity and resolutions accurately and consistently.
People Administration & Operational Support:
- Provide administrative support across People functions, including People Operations, Benefits, Payroll, LOA, Compliance, and People Systems, as assigned.
- Complete routine People transactions, data entry, record updates, and administrative requests in applicable systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive team member and organizational information.
- Prepare, organize, maintain, and file People-related documentation and records in accordance with established processes.
- Assist with the collection, organization, and validation of information needed to support People processes and programs.
- Support routine reporting, tracking, audits, and data reconciliation activities.
- Assist with preparation and distribution of standard People communications, forms, templates, and other materials.
- Maintain People team trackers, shared resources, process documentation, and administrative records as assigned.
- Identify incomplete requests or missing documentation and follow up with appropriate stakeholders.
- Support recurring People processes and projects through scheduling, coordination, document preparation, tracking, and other administrative activities.
- Identify recurring questions, administrative challenges, or process gaps and escalate opportunities for improvement to the appropriate team member.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of administrative, customer service, HR support, or related experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems and technology.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to follow established processes, identify when additional guidance is needed, and appropriately escalate questions or concerns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented approach and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities while meeting established deadlines and working collaboratively across multiple People functions.
- Experience working with ticketing, HRIS, case management, or other business systems preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent work at a computer for 90-100% of the time.
- Frequent to moderate noise level in the work environment.
- Frequent ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form to solve problems involving several variables.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch as well as manipulate (life, carry and move) up to 15 pounds.

Compensation/Schedule:
- Salary range is $60,000-$65,000
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Location: Remote with travel up to 10% of the time
