The People Development Specialist helps bring our learning strategy to life by creating and coordinating programs that support growth at every level of Four Hands. In this role, you’ll help employees grow, leaders lead, and teams thrive. 

You’ll design and deliver meaningful learning experiences, manage our LMS, and coordinate development initiatives that make an impact. This role is hands-on and collaborative — perfect for someone who loves connecting people to learning, building systems that work, and turning insights into action.

In This Role 

  • Curate and design engaging learning experiences that blend traditional and modern modalities; maintain learning materials, resources, and communication tools that bring programs to life 
  • Create inclusive learning experiences that support diverse learning styles and neurodiverse needs 
  • Partner with business leaders to assess skill gaps and align learning programs to organizational goals 
  • Manage LMS operations, including content uploads, learning paths, and course configurations 
  • Coordinate logistics and maintain calendars for People Development programs and initiatives 
  • Track participation and engagement data to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement; turn data into insights that show how learning drives growth and performance 
  • Support the design and communication of career paths and leveling frameworks that make growth opportunities clear 
  • Partner on initiatives such as coaching, mentoring, and performance development programs 
  • Stay current on learning trends and technologies to bring fresh ideas to development at Four Hands 
  • Contribute to tools and communication materials that make learning and growth visible across the company 
  • Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person

  • 5+ years of experience designing, coordinating, and delivering learning programs in a corporate setting 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 
  • Proven ability to design and facilitate engaging learning experiences for diverse audiences 
  • Technically proficient, with strong skills in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with learning and analytics platforms; comfortable adopting new technologies and tools  
  • Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles, and inclusive learning practices 
  • Experience supporting career development, including competency models, leveling, and development planning 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across teams 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to balance multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and feedback to evaluate program impact and identify opportunities for improvement 
  • Creative and curious mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to experimenting with new ideas and methods
