About This Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, service-driven People Operations Coordinator to join our Austin-based team. Our People team plays a critical role in enabling our employees - building systems, experiences, and culture that allow our team members to do their best work. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of Human Resources experience who enjoys both the operational importance of HR administration and the human side of building strong employee experiences.
The People Operations Coordinator will support the full employee lifecycle - from data entry and compliance to onboarding, offboarding, and company-wide culture initiatives. This role is highly cross-functional and requires strong organization, discretion, responsiveness, and a continuous improvement mindset. You’ll be a key contributor in ensuring our People processes run smoothly, accurately, and with a high level of care.
What You'll Do
- People Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across HRIS and related systems
- Process employee changes (new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations)
- Support payroll & benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
- Assist with compliance documentation, audits, and reporting
- Generate standard HR reports and support People metrics tracking
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding logistics, including documentation, system setup, and orientation scheduling
- Ensure a welcoming, organized experience for new hires
- Manage offboarding processes including documentation, system access changes, and exit coordination
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve onboarding and offboarding workflows
- Provide administrative and logistical support for company-wide programs and culture initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of People-related initiatives
- Serve as a responsive first point of contact for People Operations inquiries
What You Bring
- 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Experience working with HRIS systems (We utilize Rippling, but similar tool use welcome)
- Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and employee lifecycle processes
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative, service-oriented mindset

- Exposure to payroll administration or compliance reporting

This role is based in Austin, TX. We work in a hybrid-capacity - together in our office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, while working remotely/ from home on Mondays & Fridays.
