SpecterOps is searching for a People Operations Generalist to support the day-to-day functions within the people operations team.   

Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000 base salary, commensurate of experience   

Location: This position is remote, based in the U.S. with ability to travel occasionally for in-person company events and other ad hoc meetings.  

  • Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; we do not currently sponsor immigration visas.  

Responsibilities   

  • Lead various aspects of the employee lifecycle, including new hire orientation, onboarding, offboarding, etc.   
  • Help maintain employee data systems (Rippling, Lattice, etc.), ensuring data integrity and accuracy   
  • Be the point of contact for employee questions and requests, escalating as needed  
  • Assist People Operations and Finance with various payroll functions including state registrations and tax issues, non-exempt payroll processing, end of year filing and reporting, etc.   
  • Conduct comprehensive monthly and ah-hoc reporting, HR system administration, and audits to ensure compliance and support teams across the organization  
  • Help organize and lead engagement activities throughout the year 
  • Assist the recruiting team with interview coordination as needed 
  • Help consistently improve and create people processes and workflows  
  • Partner with the Director of People Operations on ad-hoc projects and people activities as assigned   

Requirements  

  • 3-5 years of experience in one or more areas of human resources   
  • Proficiency with payroll tools, and employment data management systems  
  • Comfortable using intermediate to advance functions within excel (ex. vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)  
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working in a remote environment   
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize effectively while working in a fast-paced growing organization  
  • Strong attention to details and possess outstanding organizational skills  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Ability to maintain the highest standard of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism  
  • Desire to embody our core values of passionate curiosity, consistent improvement, empathy, sustainability, humility, and empowerment through transparency  
  • Ability to successfully complete a criminal background investigation.  
  • Travel: up to 10%
