What You'll Accomplish

  • Lead and execute our annual performance review process, compensation planning, and promotion cycles
  • Manage employee relations and support managers with coaching and development
  • Design and roll out employee surveys and follow-up action planning to strengthen engagement
  • Build training and development programs, including manager enablement and career growth frameworks
  • Maintain and evolve people policies, documentation, and compliance practices in partnership with legal
  • Partner on compensation strategy, equity allocation, and benchmarking tools like Pave
  • Improve internal processes and systems for onboarding, off-boarding, and employee lifecycle operations
  • Support HRIS administration and reporting

What We Are Looking For:

  • A desire to create a world-class environment for all of Eve's team members
  • Experience in People Operations or HR generalist roles at a fast-paced, high-growth startup
  • Strong background in performance management, compensation planning, and employee lifecycle systems
  • High integrity and sound judgment in handling confidential or sensitive situations
  • Familiarity with California and multi-state employment laws
  • Passion for building scalable people systems and documentation
  • Strong communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
