About the Role:
We’re looking for a strategic, people-first leader to join our team as a People Operations Manager. This person will oversee Human Resources, Recruiting, and Workplace Experience, shaping the culture and programs that make Closinglock one of the best places to work. You’ll be the architect of our employee experience—from hiring and onboarding to engagement, development, and retention—ensuring our people feel supported, motivated, and proud to be part of our journey.


What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the Human Resources leader at Closinglock, owning all aspects of the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between.
  • Assist with Recruiting operations, and Workplace Experience teams.
  • Build and execute a people strategy that aligns with Closinglock’s growth goals and values.
  • Develop programs that enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention.
  • Drive initiatives around company culture, employee recognition, and professional development.
  • Oversee recruiting operations to attract and hire top talent across all departments.
  • Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and compliance to ensure a competitive and equitable workplace.
  • Lead initiatives that make Closinglock an inspiring, supportive, and fun place to work

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6+ years of experience in People Operations, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Experience scaling people programs at a fast-growing tech or startup environment.
  • Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational design.
  • A strong communicator who can build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Passion for building culture, fostering belonging, and creating meaningful employee experiences.
  • Strategic mindset with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude—someone who can lead with vision but isn’t afraid to get into the details


This is a full-time, in-person position in our Austin, TX office.
