Role Summary

The People Team Specialist is responsible for the execution of core People Team administrative processes across multiple field locations, nationwide. This role serves as a key partner to the People Business Partners -Field Operations and People Operation teams, helping to ensure consistent, compliant and simple people team practices, accurate data management and timely employee support.  The People Team Specialist plays an important role in maintaining compliance, supporting employee lifecycle, and delivering responsive, accurate and service-oriented People Team support to the company. This position requires strong organization skills, attention to details, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  


People Business Partner Support

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the People Business Partner team within Field Operations.

  • Respond to employee inquiries through shared HR inboxes and escalate matters as needed.

  • Maintain HR forms, templates, and internal documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.

  • Support employee lifecycle processes including employee changes, separations, and record maintenance while ensuring compliance with multi-state employment laws.

  • Assist with tracking and documentation related to LOA and ADA accommodation requests.

  • Contribute to People Team initiatives and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and systems.

People Operations & HRIS

  • Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS system and troubleshoot issues as needed.

  • Generate reports to support operational, compliance, and business needs.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to help optimize HR systems and workflows.

Benefits Administration

  • Support administration of company benefits programs, including open enrollment, onboarding, and qualifying life events.

  • Respond to employee benefit inquiries and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.

  • Partner with HR Operations to review and approve new hire benefit enrollments and Evidence of Insurability (EOI) requests.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Exceptional Communication Skills

  • 3+ years of directly related experience

Employment Type

This is a full-time non-exempt remote position based in one of our regions that requires flexibility to different time zones

Compensation

The starting salary range for this role is $30-35/hr. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
