About Owner.com
Owner is the AI growth system for local restaurants.

Our AI continuously improves SEO, marketing, and online ordering to grow first-party orders. Unlike other companies that force small business owners to master their software to drive sales, Owner gives them a proven system run by experts.

Owner is like having an army of engineers and marketers on your side, just like the big chains.

Our vision
We’re starting by helping independent restaurants succeed online.

But it’s not just restaurants that need our help. Most local businesses are struggling with these same problems. Huge technology corporations are taking their customers, bleeding their profits, and making it hard for them to survive.

Once we nail the solution for restaurants – we’ll scale it into every other local business type.

In the future we envision, tens of millions of local business owners will use our technology to succeed in the digital age.

Our traction
Since 2020, we've generated tens of millions in revenue and processed over half a billion dollars of online orders. 1 in 5 Americans have used an Owner.com website.

More importantly, we’ve helped over 20,000 restaurant owners, and saved them nearly $200 million in fees.

Our team
Our team is now in the low hundreds. We’ve got top talent from the most successful companies in SMB software, including: Shopify, HubSpot, DoorDash, ServiceTitan, Rappi, Faire and Stripe.

We’ll be scaling even faster in 2026 to keep pace with our customer growth.

Where we work
Owner is a remote-first, global company headquartered in San Francisco, with a sales hub in Toronto. For a few of our roles we prioritize in-person collaboration at one of our office locations. Most of our teammates are distributed throughout the globe. Please review the role description and discuss with your recruiter for more details on location!

Why we’re looking for you
We’re scaling fast and expanding our paid acquisition engine - and to do that, we’re looking for a Performance Creative Strategist, Paid Social who is obsessed with creative strategy, thrives in a high-velocity environment, and loves bringing structure to a fast-moving creative pipeline.

This role is the glue between creative production, paid performance, and growth strategy. You’ll partner closely with our Growth Marketing Managers to plan and launch high-performing creative across Meta, TikTok, and additional paid channels. You’ll manage the creative workflow end-to-end, ensure we’re testing at the pace our growth demands, and uncover insights that help us scale smarter and faster.

If you’re equal parts organized operator, creative thinker, and performance analyst, this is a high-impact opportunity to meaningfully shape our growth trajectory.

The Impact You’ll Have

  • Own, organize, and streamline our creative production pipeline, ensuring we have the right volume and variety of creative to support rapid testing and scale.
  • Manage our creative tracker and testing backlog so we can launch ads faster, more consistently, and with fewer bottlenecks.
  • Review and QA ad creative for brand alignment, accurate product information, and strategic fit before launch.
  • Conduct biweekly competitor deep dives and trend analyses to uncover creative opportunities and inspire new concepts.
  • Build and maintain a creative testing roadmap and insights tracker, sharing performance learnings with both internal and external production partners.
  • Analyze creative performance across key engagement metrics (CTR, CVR, thumbstop rate, CPA, CPM, etc.) and surface actionable insights that improve efficiency and unlock new creative angles.
  • Work closely with the Growth Marketing Managers to support broader channel strategy by freeing up their time to focus on forecasting, optimization, and long-term planning.

Who You’ll Work With

  • You’ll be deeply embedded within the Growth organization and collaborate closely with:
  • Growth Marketing Managers (your day-to-day partners)
  • Chief Marketing Officer
  • Contractors & external agencies (creative strategists, editors, animators, etc.)
  • Eventually a Director of Marketing as the team continues to grow
  • You’ll be a central point of coordination across all creative motion - ensuring strategy, production, and performance stay tightly aligned.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years experience in paid social creative strategy or performance-focused marketing roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok required; YouTube and Google Ads experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of creative testing frameworks, iteration processes, and paid social engagement metrics (CTR, CVR, thumbstop rate, CPA, CPM).
  • Ability to analyze creative performance data and translate insights into clear recommendations.
  • Proficiency with creative workflow and analytics tools (Notion, Motion, Atria) and marketing platforms (HubSpot, Excel - Excel is a must).
  • Experience managing creative production cycles — either in-house or at an agency. (Agency-only experience is totally acceptable.)
  • Exceptional organization, communication, and project management skills.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented operator who can bring order to ambiguity and move projects forward with velocity.

Pay and benefits

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000, plus a generous pre-IPO equity package
  • Other benefits include comprehensive health coverage, remote-first workplace, unlimited PTO - plus extra fun perks!
