About Solace

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare by pairing patients with expert advocates and giving them the tools to make better decisions—and get better outcomes.

We're a Series C startup, founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP. Our U.S. based team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly.

Solace isn't a place to coast. We're here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you're looking to stretch yourself, sharpen your edge, and do the best work of your life alongside a team that cares deeply, you're in the right place. We’re intense, and we like it that way.

About the Role

Solace is hiring a Performance Creative Video Producer to own direct-response video for our YouTube, CTV, and Meta campaigns. Paid media is an eight-figure monthly program for us, and video is the one of biggest levers we have in it.

You’ll be cutting everything from six-second bumpers to 30-second spots to longer narrative ads, depending on what the channel and the test call for. You’ll sit in a channel pod with a creative strategist and a media buyer and look at the same performance data they do.

The goal is ads that lower CPA, not ads that look nice.

What You’ll Own
  • Creative concepts. Develop the angles, narratives, and visual approaches we test in video. Translate audience insight and performance data into original concepts, and help decide which ones are worth producing.

  • Creative direction. Set the look, pacing, tone, and voice of Solace video across channels. Establish how our ads feel on YouTube pre-roll versus a CTV spot versus a Meta placement, and build a visual language we can extend.

  • Key creative decisions. Own the hook, the retention beats, the proof, and the CTA on every ad. When data shows a drop-off, diagnose the cause and decide how to fix it.

  • Production volume. Own the production pipeline for a weekly slate of finished direct-response videos across YouTube, CTV, and Meta. This includes cutdowns and variants, each built to the right length, aspect ratio, and specs for its placement.

  • Generating assets. Use AI video, image, voice, and avatar tools to create scenes, presenters, product demos, b-roll, and transitions when we don’t have the footage.

  • Variants. Take a concept that’s working and spin it into a set of tests with different hooks, lengths, VO reads, visual treatments, and CTAs that can run at the same time.

  • Compliance. Work within Solace’s approved-claims library and review process. We’re in healthcare, so you need to know what’s cleared before it hits the timeline.

  • QA and organization. Captions, audio levels, color, safe zones, and platform specs are correct before anything ships. Generated assets get named and tagged so the library is usable by other people.

  • Communication. Written notes, timestamped feedback, and recorded walkthroughs so the pod can move without a meeting.

What Success Looks Like

We have a steady supply of video ads that perform. The work is on brand, compliant, and improving week over week because you’re paying attention to the data. Six months in, we have a real library of AI-generated assets with performance history behind them, and it exists because you built it.

What You Bring to the Table
  • 2+ years editing direct-response video, including at least 2 years at an e-commerce or DTC brand or another shop producing performance ads at high volume.

  • A reel of paid ads with results attached. We want to see what scaled and hear what you learned from what didn’t.

  • Hands-on experience with current AI video and image tools, AI voice tools, and avatar or presenter tools. You should have opinions about which ones are worth using.

  • Expert in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. At least intermediate After Effects for motion graphics and compositing.

  • Familiarity with YouTube, CTV, and Meta video specs and placements.

  • Able to read creative performance data and turn it into edit decisions.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle several briefs at once without quality slipping.

  • A bias for action. You move fast, make sound decisions, and work well under tight timelines.

  • Nice to have: experience in healthcare or another regulated industry with a claims review process, or experience building a creative library from nothing.

Who We Are

We’re a team of ambitious, mission-driven individuals working to make healthcare more human. At Solace, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to one of the fastest-growing healthcare startups in the U.S. — where your work has a direct, visible impact on people’s lives.

Applicants must be based in the United States.

Up for the Challenge?

We look forward to meeting you.
