Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Operation Manager to join our team in Beirut, Lebanon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

  • Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy workflow, productivity, and customer service
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and minimizing waste
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and standards in Lebanon
  • Analyze financial performance and prepare budgets for the pharmacy department
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other departments to enhance patient care
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure safe and effective medication dispensing
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complex issues professionally and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and healthcare providers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field (required); Master's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Management (preferred)
  • Licensed pharmacist in Lebanon (required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmacy operations management
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and optimizing pharmacy workflows
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and inventory management systems
  • Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and standards in Lebanon
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in Arabic and English; knowledge of French is a plus
