As a Pipeline Development Representative, you'll connect with prospects, create opportunities, and fuel growth through outbound and inbound sales efforts, focusing on scheduling demo calls.

You’re here because you’ve been thinking: “I want a sales role that actually excites me. I want to get paid well to talk to smart people, help them solve problems, and work at a company where I can grow fast alongside people I’d call my best friends.”

If I had to sum YOU up, I’d say you’re the kind of person who’s competitive, hates being average, and loves the challenge of hitting a number every month. You thrive on conversations, you’re resourceful when others get stuck, and you know that sales is one of the most valuable skills that you’ve already mastered early in your career.

This opportunity is for a full-time SDR role at DealMachine. You’ll be the front line of our sales team—connecting with prospects, creating opportunities, and fueling growth at one of the highest-rated real estate data companies in the world (5,000+ 5-star reviews on iOS and Android).

We’re growing fast, which means you’ll have the chance to do a lot, learn a ton, and move up quickly.

What you’ll do: The SDR at DealMachine is a front-line hunter for new business. This role focuses on building a pipeline full of demo calls with Real Estate Investors, Solar, Roofing, and related Home services businesses. Acting in both an outbound and inbound capacity, the SDR will research & qualify prospects, reach out (primarily using email, call, text and social media) and book demo calls. The SDR does not close deals but fills up the Account Executives calendar with conversations with SQLs (sales qualified leads).

Skills & Responsibilities (in priority):

  • Handle inbound leads by responding quickly to incoming “contact sales” requests and convert them into a scheduled discovery/demo call.
  • Execute outreach (email, call, text, social media DMs) to lists of leads provided by DealMachine and convert them into a scheduled discovery/demo call.
  • Follow-up & nurture prospects who don’t convert immediately (with varied messaging) to keep them engaged. Craft and execute sequences of emails and calls to engage prospects.
  • Pipeline maintenance to keep CRM data clean & updated (lead status, next steps). Review pipeline to ensure no qualified lead falls through the cracks.
  • Messaging: Refine outreach scripts and email templates based on what works, share insights with sales & marketing.
  • Outbound prospecting: Identify high-potential companies & contacts who may not be aware of DealMachine. Conduct cold outreach to targets via phone, email, SMS, and social media.
  • Use AI to make yourself more efficient, without potentially annoying or turning off valuable leads. Think “make yourself more efficient communicator” rather than “AI is doing the talking”

About the Team

Our SDR will report directly to our Head of Sales. You should be comfortable with direct feedback and rapid iteration.

About Us:

Values at DealMachine:

There’s no need for overtime: At every level of our organization, each member of our team is so efficient, organized, and precise that there’s never a need for anyone to work outside scheduled hours. Our processes are crystal-clear and we get things done right the first time. When our team is spending time with their family and friends, they’re not distracted by thinking about work problems. There’s no overtime, and that includes mental overtime.

Always tell the truth: There’s never a need to hide a mistake, because each of us is confident enough to own it when we’ve done something wrong. When we discover an issue, we proactively tell relevant DealMachine members just that. The raw truth is so rare that we benefit from the immense trust that we’ve built with each other and our members. It’s a huge advantage for our team. We know that spinning bad news in order to sound “better” does not fool anyone. We confidently disclose problems and communicate right away: “We don’t have a solution yet but we are working on one.”

Take ownership: Everyone operates under the assumption that if something has gone wrong, it’s our own fault. We do not sit back and continue to watch problems grow. We know that we all play a crucial role in the success of DealMachine, and therefore we take individual ownership when things don’t go as expected. When a DealMachine team member observes a problem on another team, they work through their leader to solve it, or step in to help gracefully without fear of political repercussions.

Document what we learn: Every time someone solves a new problem, completes a process, streamlines an existing process, or learns something new, they add detailed notes and instructions to our Playbook so that everyone on the team can learn and grow through each other. This allows everyone on the team to be fast and efficient.

Have hard conversations: Without hesitation, our team is ready to have difficult conversations from the moment an initial problem occurs. We’ve built immense trust as coworkers by being open, forthright, and tackling problems head-on as soon as they arise. We never have to worry that someone is holding on to negative feelings.

Read the play: Our team does not need to wait around for detailed instructions before jumping into a project. Each of us are confident in our roles, and when we’re given an outline of what needs to be done, we know that we can find a way to accomplish it without someone watching over our shoulder at every step.

Benefits at DealMachine:

  • Competitive salary: We pay at or above market salary in most cases
  • Health / Dental / Vision insurance: We cover 100% of the employee premiums and significantly subsidize family plans.
  • Flexible Work Schedule
