Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Planner Scheduler located in Pflugerville, Austin, TX

Reporting  to the Materials Planning Manager. This role will be In charge of helping materials and production functions. Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.
 

What a typical day looks like:

  • Checking the possibility of order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipment’s etc.), confirmation of the order.
  • Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, notification of the purchasing group.
  • Monitoring, controlling implementation of plans, starting necessary actions in case of deviations
  • Preparation of long-term plans, forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
  • Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data /non-consumed demand, planned WOs.
  • Preparing Clean-to-Build reports, checking the material availability, replanning if necessary, informing of order desk, ECO implementation tracing.
  • Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences.
  • Preparing management and CFT specificized reports, monitoring KPI's.
  • Giving assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
  • Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
  • Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.
  • Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. 
  • May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
  • Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
  • Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
  • Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers, and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
  • Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
  • May also help inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
     

The Experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 1 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic process skills.
  • Demonstrates advanced/thorough knowledge of the function.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • BOM (Bills of Material) and Oracle/SAP system experience is a plus.
