Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Planner Scheduler located in Austin TX.

Reporting to the Production Planning Manager, the Planner Scheduler, this role will oversee planning materials and production functions. Plans, schedules, coordinates, and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Checking the possibility of the order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipment’s etc.), confirmation of the order.
• Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, notification of the purchasing group.
• Monitoring, control of implementation of plans, starting necessary actions in case of deviations
• Preparation of long-term plans, forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
• Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data /non-consumed demand, planned WO's.
• Preparing of Clean to build reports, checking the material availability, replanning if necessary, informing of order desk, ECO implementation tracing.
• Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences.
• Preparing management and CFT specificized reports, monitoring of KPI's.
• Giving assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
• Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
• Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.
• Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. 
• May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
• Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
• Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
• Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers, and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
• Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
• May also help inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and in scheduling.

Here is some of what you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of experience as a Planner Scheduler or similar roles
• Production Planning/scheduling, and DOF (Direct Order Fulfillment)
• Previous experience in the Electronic Manufacturing or Shipping industry
• Micro Soft Office Suite
• Learn new tools/software quickly and work/multi-task under pressure
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
