About the Internship Program:

About the Role:The planning intern will support the planning team with sales forecasting and purchase order/ inventory management, with a focus on streamlining reporting and aggregating data from various sources.
Specific responsibilities:- Assists with updating reporting by refreshing/exporting sales data and inputting shared data from various external and internal sources
- Refresh daily data feeds for planning files
- Review private label planned receipts and reconcile discrepancies between automated reporting and known orders, through partnership with the Product Development team
- Check private label shipping updates and ensure planned receipts are aligned with the correct delivery months. Alert planners to any significant variances from expected delivery.
- Monitor coverage of A/B skus and identify opportunities for team to be proactive reaching out to vendors to ensure timely delivery of open POs and any chase opportunities
- Executes tasks with moderate supervision, applying learned skills and processes.
- Consistently deliver quality work while balancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Builds positive working relationships within the Planning team and across Merchandising/Planning/PD functions.
- Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables, formulas, trend analysis)
- Accuracy and attention to detail when handling reports and documentation.
- Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines reliably.
- Organizational skills to handle multiple small tasks efficiently.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn planning concepts.
- Compensation: $15 - $20hr
