What we’re hiring for:   

We are a growing fintech organization looking to add a Platform Operations Specialist on our America’s team!

 What you’ll be responsible for in this role:   

  • Perform Software Releases and Infrastructure Updates:  
  • Multiple PaaS instances of E6 Cloud platform 
  • Multiple AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters 
  • Cloud infrastructure (e.g. RDS, LB, networking, storage) 
  • Linux and Windows servers 
  • Maintain SQL and NoSQL databases 
  • Support software development and testing activities 
  • Support client onboarding and migrations 
  • Routine testing of system backups and Disaster Recovery plans 
  • Regular daily Infrastructure Monitoring and Maintenance 
  • Create and maintain internal documentation 
  • Participate in a standard on-call rotation with other team members 
  • Other duties as assigned 

What experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role:   

  • 3+ years AWS Cloud management experience (or other relevant Public Cloud provider) 
  • 3+ years Kubernetes cluster administration 
  • 3+ years Linux O/S management experience 
  • 2+ years’ experience using Python scripting 
  • Demonstrated infrastructure troubleshooting skills 
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code  tools such as Terraform
