Platform Product Owner
As a Platform Product Owner, you will define and drive the vision for technology platforms that power Private Banking and Wealth Management experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation who can bridge business priorities with modern engineering practices. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and data specialists to deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions that enable personalized, high-value client interactions.
Hybrid schedule, 4 days onsite. 1 remote from one of the following offices: Johnston, RI, Phoenix, AZ, or Westwood, MA.
Key Responsibilities
• Own platform vision and roadmap by defining and maintaining strategy aligned with Private Banking and Wealth objectives
• Drive product discovery by partnering with Architecture, Engineering, Operations, and Business teams to validate concepts, shape features, and groom the master backlog
• Prioritize for impact by balancing stakeholder needs with technical feasibility to meet regulatory, security, and performance requirements
• Champion modern practices such as cloud-native architectures, API-first design, and microservices to enable agility and scalability
• Define success metrics by establishing clear acceptance criteria and KPIs for platform features and user journeys
• Ensure governance and compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory frameworks for financial services
Required Qualifications
• 2–5 years of product ownership or management experience in technology platforms
• Hands-on experience with agile software development for complex, multi-tiered systems
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Excellent communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
• Experience in financial services, preferably Private Banking or Wealth Management
• Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements in regulated environments
• Exposure to modern programming languages and frameworks (Java, Python, Angular, React)
• Understanding of UI/UX principles for client-facing platforms
• Ability to translate business strategy into technical execution
Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline required
• Certifications in Agile Product Ownership or Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure) preferred
Salary range: $140,000 to $185,000 per year plus annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay depends on location, skills, and experience.
