Job Description
At Nexthink, the DevEx team enables product engineering teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently, reliably, and at scale.
As a Platform Engineer, you will own, evolve, and automate our enablement platform and productivity tooling, driving improvements across our CI/CD stack to enable reliable, scalable, and efficient software delivery across the organization.
Software development is undergoing a significant shift - with AI-assisted workflows, agentic engineering practices, and increasingly autonomous development processes reshaping how engineers build, validate, release, and operate systems. Our platform must evolve to support this transition.
You will contribute to modernizing our delivery platform to support:
  • AI-augmented and agentic development
  • Automation-first engineering practices
  • Scalable, self-service CI/CD capabilities
  • Reliable build, release, and deployment workflows

Your focus will be on improving development and delivery workflows, increasing system reliability, reducing friction, and scaling engineering autonomy and productivity across the organization - while preparing our platform for the next generation of software development.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, CI/CD Engineering, Build Engineering, Release Engineering, or SRE roles
  • Strong hands-on experience designing, operating, and scaling CI/CD platforms and developer productivity tooling, ideally in large-scale or multi-team engineering environments
  • Deep experience with CI systems and platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, reusable workflows, runners, permissions, secrets, and organization-wide CI standards
  • Proven experience improving build and release reliability, pipeline performance, feedback loops, test execution, artifact handling, deployment automation, and developer experience
  • Experience with artifact management and software supply chain workflows, ideally using Artifactory, including package publishing, repository management, retention, promotion, and migration patterns
  • Solid understanding of containerized build and delivery workflows using Docker, including image builds, caching, publishing, promotion, and security scanning
  • Experience with Kubernetes-based delivery workflows and deployment tooling such as Helm, ArgoCD, FluxCD, or similar technologies
  • Experience with GitOps practices, progressive delivery patterns, and standardized deployment workflows across multiple teams or environments
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform, and experience operating platform infrastructure in cloud environments
  • Experience with AWS-based engineering platforms, including IAM, networking, compute, storage, and secure automation patterns
  • Good understanding of secrets management and secure CI/CD practices, ideally using tools such as Vault, GitHub OIDC, short-lived credentials, and least-privilege access models
  • Experience with CI/CD observability, governance, and standardization, including metrics, templates, golden paths, policy enforcement, and self-service capabilities
  • Exposure to AI-enabled engineering workflows and an interest in evolving platform capabilities to support agentic engineering practices, automated validation, and faster developer feedback
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to drive adoption of platform standards across engineering teams while balancing enablement, reliability, security, and autonomy
