Lead development of assembly line control system concepts, functional specifications, PLC/HMI programs, and on-site commissioning. Provide debugging, troubleshooting, motion control design, protocol integration, technical support, and project management while maintaining customer relationships. Bilingual Mandarin/English required.
Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities
- Develop control system concepts and architecture according customer’s RFQ and Comau standard.
- Develop assembly line controls functional specifications and description.
- Develop controls program for assembly line, test and commissioning on site.
- Assist the external resource technical support.
Qualifications (Education, Training, Certification, Licenses, Experience)
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English*
- Have a thorough understanding of the electrical and control standards of the customer.
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in the Body Assembly, specializing in software programming(PLC & HMI), debugging, troubleshooting and commissioning.
- Fluent spoken and written in both English and Chinese.
- Be an expert in PLC programming, HMI programming, electrical design of control systems, control and automation concepts, motion system control for frequency inverter or servo controller.
- Core qualifications include proficiency in TIA Portal, RSLogix, Microsoft Office and core knowhow is Siemens Sicar Standard.
- Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as Profinet/ProfiSAFE, EthernetIP, and EtherCAT and other software tools used for on-site commissioning.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage project scope, schedule, quality, resources, and associated risks effectively.
- Possess strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with customers and a proficiency in business.
- Be able to work under pressure and be available for overtime as required.
