Our Engagement Manager is a seasoned technology leader who is responsible for managing the development, maintenance, and support for the client’s SAP CRM, ISU, C4 HANA and BW applications and SAP Basis function. This individual collaborates with and understands both business and IT in order to maintain, support and enhance SAP enables the client to achieve its goals and objectives.

A successful candidate will also bring strong SAP functional skills, Application Managed Service management and delivery consulting experience, as well as experience with managing and owning budgets and Key Performance Metrics. The candidate must demonstrate a history of successfully providing client application support and completing and delivering on enhancement projects on time and on budget and be able to speak to what worked and what didn't.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with client business/IT leads to understand their business goals and IT needs and develop solutions based on their needs.
  • Build and cultivate client relationships that support or enhance the Company’s ability to deliver quality with a high level of quality and perceived client value and to pursue new opportunities at the client.
  • Manage AMS activities at client to provide SAP production and system enhancement support.
  • Develop team members and set clear expectations of performance, providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to assure alignment of goals and objectives.
  • Ensure team is meeting agreed upon SLA’s and deliverables.
  • Adhere to client application change control and provide analysis to project teams for assigned applications.
  • Manage and oversee design and implementation of requested system configuration and master data changes.
  • Provide responsive resolution and analysis to situations affecting system availability and/or performance.
  • Support or lead client AMS proposals and contract negotiations.
  • Facilitate collaboration with client, AMS team and client vendors to ensure successful enhancement project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain application management support budget and monthly forecasting while seeking opportunities to optimize spend and reduce costs.
  • Participate in Sales Pursuits.
  • Become proficient in Utegration delivery methodology Elevate4U.

 

Key Qualifications

  • 5 years SAP AMS or Project Delivery experience with broad based IT exposure, in all aspects of IT management (risk management, issue management, resource management) mandatory.
  • 5years experience Utility Market experience or SAP IS-U is mandatory.
  • Experience managing large and small scale implementations and business enhancements into existing technology applications and infrastructure in other application and markets is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Project management certification preferred.
